Michael works as Sports Missions Director to make disciples of Jesus Christ throughout Europe; working with coaches, athletes, and church planters in multiple countries.

​The Johnstones have a ministry vision of declaring Christ through sports and other relationship-centered activities with the goal of making disciples, and developing coaches who will have generational impact within their communities. The family partners with local churches and other ministries to empower and equip these disciples to reach their communities for Christ.

The Johnstones are currently support raising in order to return to live and work full time in Europe where Michael will also serve as an associate pastor at Lakeside-Aspern Church in Vienna.

Short Term/Current Projects

• Support growth of Baseball in Kosovo – Online Coaches Academy and Coaches Certification Curriculum
• Development of local ministry leaders and coaches in Kosovo and Austria
• Discipleship conversations with coaches in Austria, Kosovo, Italy, Macedonia, Slovakia, Germany and Croatia.
• Early stages of development of a baseball training facility in Austria

​Long Term/Future Projects

• National Team development program in Kosovo
• Training center/field development project in Italy and Slovakia
• Sports Ministry Training Academy in Vienna
• Ministry focused tournaments, teams, and coach training conventions.
